Reversible Belts

So it's been a while.

Earlier today I noticed that one of my reversible belts had the buckle slightly twisted. Apparently reversible belts have this nice little mechanism that lets you swivel the belt around to change the outside face.

I just took the screws out (on the one belt that I actually wanted reversed) and flipped it around.

Falafel

I made falafel today with some of my own modifications from a recipe found on the Internet. It turned out pretty well and was delicious. I don't know if I would make it again, though. It felt like the end result didn't justify the lengthy preparation. I think it was because of the hour-long chickpea boiling, even if it didn't require constant attention. I'm trying to focus on meals with fast prep, especially if I start getting home at 6 or later.

I also noticed that chickpeas look like tiny chicks. I hadn't really eaten much of them before to really notice. :moo:
