Weekend

Okay, so this weekend was quite uneventful. Friday->Sat was pretty much an all-nighter (as mentioned previously), and I ended up sleeping from oh, maybe 3PM to 7PMish on Saturday. My lower back hurt quite a bit and I was unable to bend for the most part. Comfortable bucket chair to the rescue, and I pretty much watched all of season 2 and 3 of Friends this weekend.

Spring break is two weeks away. Since no plans for spring break were made, I think I will be going home. On Friday. Or at least, that's when my parents will be coming by to pick me up.

I really need a good uplifting set right now. Or a hug.

Rube

Okay, so maybe I've done more than just 'help out'. I just got home from what amounts to a crunch session, as the competition is mere hours away. The machine is working (most of the time), and the elevator and mixer mount (the portion of particular interest to me) works great.

We'll see how it goes. I'm kinda tired, actually.

Happy New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year to you all.

Something outside our building (dumpster?) was on fire. The Fire Dept. came and took care of that.

ECE368 exam tomorrow. It's way the heck out there... only 1/2 block closer than an exam I had last year. Ugh. No ride back (that I know of yet) with a friend, either.

Snow!

O(snow!), hehe. Don't worry if you don't get it. /dork

It's cold, snowy, and windy. Classes are still operating normally. We'll see how this turns out.

Edit: classes were canceled shortly after I posted. =D

Edit2: classes canceled today (Wednesday) as well. It stopped snowing already, but the hour-by-hour forecast says there will be 'few snow showers' from 3pm on until at least 11pm.

Snow, Round II

It's supposed to snow again tonight/Tuesday, but this time, accumulation is predicted to be in the 6-12 inch range.

Aside from the obvious problems caused by that, it should be okay. Maybe they'll even cancel classes tomorrow. Not like it'd really help me out though, since most of my stuff is due on Thursday.

Weekend

Okay, so second exam was really long and a little bit difficult. Only two people turned it in on time, and we went almost 10 minutes over class and nobody else had come close to finishing.

It's now a take-home test, with the usual honor code attached and no time limit.

Finally, weekend. It's been a long week.

First Exam

First exam of the semester tomorrow, closely followed by the second on Friday.

Not much else to say, really, except it snowed approximately 4 inches on Tuesday.

-15 Windchill

It's pretty cold here, possibly the coldest it's been while I've been here.

Played a decent quantity of Wii Sports and a 15m diameter heap of Katamari Darmacy. Don't really feel like elaborating more at the moment, so I'll leave it at that.

February Already?!

It's February already, and it's actually feeling more like winter. There's been snow on the ground for oh, maybe a week now, the temperatures outside are unbearably cold, and groups of robins (among other birds) flutter about.

Wait, birds?? I thought those were reserved for closer to springtime.

Classes are going okay, have first round of exams coming up next week- Thursday and Friday. Other two classes have exams in the following weeks.

So, Superbowl is this weekend. Still open to plans...

Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.
