I don't see how the Republicans can still blast away at the Democratic presidential campaign as being inexperienced. Yet somehow, they'll still manage.

Oh, and Sarah Palin should've gone to PUSH.

Olympics

We're coming up with rules for the Olympics Drinking Game to be played en masse in 2012. So far, we have preliminary rules for: swimming, track & field, gymnastics, soccer, beach volleyball, and equestrian events. Find me on IM during the prime time broadcast of the Olympic events for rules discussion, or post your suggestions in the comments!

Since four years is a long time to wait, we're going to form rules for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The events list is as follows:
Alpine skiing
Biathlon
Bobsleigh
Cross-country skiing
Curling
Figure skating
Freestyle skiing
Ice hockey
Luge
Nordic combined
Short track speed skating
Skeleton
Ski jumping
Snowboarding
Speed skating

Various rules can be adapted, such as gymnastics -> figure skating, soccer -> hockey, or any record event. The must-haves will definitely include curling and bobsleigh. More to come.

Chicago

I am back home now, 1722.7 miles driven since Thursday.

Went up for an interview in the northeast corner of Ohio (about an hour from Akron, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, PA) which went pretty well, then detoured through Indy and Purdue to Chicago.

Jamie, Nathan, Charles, and I met up with Faye downtown to celebrate her 21st birthday on Saturday. We watched The Dark Knight on Sunday before visiting Ed, Dwayne, and Roy around 9pm. Finally got into Purdue around 3am eastern, left at 6:30 to take Jamie back in time for work, then drove all the way back and getting home around 1pm central.

Fun trip, but lots of driving.

Post Trip

Okay, so I'm back. Have been since Thursday evening, actually.

I'm still organizing and renaming some pictures (my phone starts numbering from the last number found) and will upload them soon.

There's not much going on now, although I have to call a few companies back. Still trying to find an excuse (have a reason already) to go up to Chicago.

Time to step up the job search again. A few people have advised to take what I can since the market isn't all that great right now. I'd still rather be selective, as far as location, though. There are a few places that are more preferable. Hopefully some of these leads will pan out.

Some limitations:
I'll be using my phone to take these pictures, so anything underwater or really far away may be problematic. Anything that requires a lot of detail probably won't work either. You know how camera phone pictures are- blurry and dim. Pictures taken at night or in low light conditions will be hit or miss.
